I selected an object and cut it leaving the white hole. Now I want to copy the same section lines on a defferent part of the photo and use the content aware tool (extend) to put a copy in the white hole.  Can I copy the selection line only?  Thank you for your help.

What version of Photoshop Elements and operating system are you using?

Yes once you have active selection go to Select>Save Selection.

Then when you need the selection you can go to Select>Load Selection.

2021 and windows.  Thank you, unfortunately I'm not bright enough to figure out what to do after I've loaded the selection.  So far I just made the exact shaped hole on another part of the part of the photo.  Also PSE moved my status to "explorer", can I change it back to "beginner"?

You want to the Expert mode.

The other mode Quick offers a limited set of tools and Guided is well just specific edits listed.

If you provided some screenshots of what your doing we can give more targeted advice.

I attached the file.  I first selected the man with the beer and erased the selection.  I want to move to the right a bit (past the erased shape) make a selection of the exact same shape and either copy it to erased area, or create the marching ants use the content aware tool to extend it to the erased area.  Second, I selected "top of man", saved it, and uploaded it. I don't know if the marching ants will be visable to you or not.  Again, I want select the area to the right of him in the shape of the marching ants. Thank you.

A more simple explaination is: I want to duplicate only the marching ants around a different area on the image.

I used the Content Aware Move Tool and then the Spot Healing Brush Tool to clean up some of the areas around

edge of the filled selection.

So make your selection of the man, then move the selection to an area in the photo to copy from and use the Content Aware Move Tool to extend (copy) the selected area to cover the man.
