Hi,
I need to copy text from one image and paste it into a batch of images.
The text is almost identical for each image but will need some editing.
I have read and listened to many tutorials on the web but I can't get it to work.
I would like to know:

I have worked out a system, I am sure there may be simpler ways of doing it , but, for what its worth here is my solution:
Elements 2018
Copy & Paste Text inserted in one image into another & Edit new Image Text
Because Raw files are so large, I only keep those I rate as 4 stars and above. The others I delete from the catalogue and from their original folder in Explorer.
I then convert the other psd files into JPG and file them separately.
TO do the copy and paste, I proceed as follows:
Load the first image into ACR….edit as required or make no changes….Open Image…this opens the image in the Editor
Select Text in the Draw Toolbar and type required Text and set style to your satisfaction.
Close the image….specify what type of file you want it saved as and where you want the file saved.
The file will also be saved in the catalogue as a psd and the original RAW file will also be saved in the catalogue.
I don’t want duplicate files in my catalogue so I delete the RAW file from the catalogue only.
I then load the psd image with the text into the Editor, it will be my Master.
In the Photo Bin I select the psd Master ….Right click inside the Text box on the image….from the drop down menu select Edit Text…the text will be highlighted ..….Edit…Copy.
I leave my Text Master in the Photo Bin until I have copied the text from it to all the other files in the batch. It may not be needed again because the text I have copied onto the clipboard will remain there until I copy something else over it.
I then import my next RAW file from the Organizer…it opens in ACR ..Edit as required … Open Image…this opens the image in the Editor.
Select this new file you want to copy the text into….Select Text in the Draw Toolbar….Right click where you want to insert the text……Edit….Paste……accept.
To edit the text if required….Right click inside the Text box on the new image….from the drop down menu select Edit Text…the text will be highlighted …edit it as required…accept with the green tick..…..close the file and save as required.
I am now going to try and figure out how to copy the text as a batch edit to all the files.

Hi, I have found a quicker way to do limited multiple files, for what its worth:
THERE IS A MUCH SIMPLER & QUICKER WAY
Copy & Paste Text inserted in one image into multiple images
Load the first image into ACR….edit as required or make no changes….Open Image…this opens the image in the Editor
Select Text in the Draw Toolbar and type required Text and set style to your satisfaction.
Close the image….specify what type of file you want it saved as and where you want the file saved.
The file will also be saved in the catalogue as a psd and the original RAW file will also be saved in the catalogue.
I don’t want duplicate files in my catalogue so I delete the RAW file from the catalogue only.
To copy the text into multiple Images
Select the psd image created above ( The Master)..open the Editor..it will load directly into the Editor.
Return to the Organizer and select more RAW images .To prevent confusion in the image window load no more than 3 ….Open the Editor…they will load into the ACR Photo Bin….select all of the files and select OPEN IMAGES.
The images will open in the Editor Photo Bin.
Select the pdf master which opens in the layers panel ….Select the text layer to make it active.
In the panel below the elements photo bin select layout….from the drop down menu select All Column.
All the images in the photobin will be displayed in the image window. I find a maximum of4 images (Master plus 3 new ) can be handled at a time.
Open the psd file ( The Master )….click and drag the Text layer into the first RAW file…repeat the click & drag into the other RAW files….The text from the psd (Master ) file will be copied into each RAW File.
Ctrl Click on the text block in one of the RAW files and place it where you want it to be.
Ctrl and right click on the text and select EDIT TEXT…..Edit the text…when completed accept the change by clicking on the Green Tick….Close the file and save as required.
Do the same for all the remaining RAW images
