Hi there,

Sorry to hear that you see a disc error in Photoshop Elements. We're here to help.

Which version of Photoshop Elements have you installed? What is your system specification? How much available free space do you have? Where are the files located? Do you get this error message while launching the application or while performing a task?

Photoshop Elements needs at least 3 GB of disk space to launch.

Try these steps and let us know if it helps.

  • Free up additional hard drive space by deleting unnecessary files up to 3 GB from the start-up disk or by moving your files in the start-up disk to another storage location.

  • Disable Auto creations:

    1. Go to Elements Organizer
    2. Open Preferences > Media-Analysis
    3. Deselect Generate Auto Creations
  • Restart your computer.

Thanks

Ranjisha
