Hi I am using Photoshop Elements 2018 and have just updated my Canon camera and now produce CR3 RAW files.

How can I open these files in the Photoshop version I have?

Thanks,

Please see for yourself which version of Camera Raw supports a camera and which version of Photoshop is compatible with that ACR version:

Hi

Since your question is about Photoshop Elements, I have moved this from the "Photoshop" forum for you.

Do you mean Elements 2020 which is version 18?

If your camera is not supported, you can use the free Adobe DNG converter to convert the raw files for use in Elements.

Added:  If you do mean Elements 2018 and your camera is not supported by that version, you should also check to see whether upgrading to Elements 2020 will solve your problem.  It may not as there are some recent Canon cameras that require Camera Raw 12.2.   Elements 2020 has been updated to ACR 12.0 only.
