How do I create a new 'My 2017 Catalog' so that all my tags from My 2016 Catalog will copy over.
I currently have pse13 and Windows 10 (uses apps not programs now) with Edge as the browser
I have tried following my notes from the last several years but it is not working now.
This is the path I was using for Windows 10 when I did this last year...
C:\Program Data\Adobe\Elements Organizer\Catalogs\My 2015 Catalog\
However, when I tried this today there is no 'My 2015 Catalog' only 'Catalog'. I made a new 'My 2017 Catalog' folder and copied everything from 'Catalog' into it and then opened pse13 and went to 'manage catalogs' and 'My 2017 Catalog' is not there. What am I doing wrong?
One other thing... I recently got a new computer and it has two hard drives. C is for the programs and E is where all my files are stored which may be part of the problem. When I go to 'manage catalogs' in pse13 it looks like my catalogs are on E drive. I am not really computer savvy when it comes to things like file paths so I am not sure what to do to find the folder on the E drive.
Thanks so much for any help offered.

That does not work like this.
- Catalogs are folders containing the database and other associated files and subfolder.
- each catalog has the format of the Elements version it has been created with.
- you never play with what's in such folders except for rare troubleshooting steps.
- You can have many catalog folders in different version formats, but there is absolutely no automatic way to merge catalogs or to import part of catalogs into new ones.
- When you upgrade to a more recent version, you have the option in the catalog manager to 'convert' an old catalog to the more recent format. You can't convert new formats to older ones. In the catalog manager dialog, you use the button 'convert' to browse and select the file to convert.
- By default, in Windows, catalogs are stored on a hidden master folder in the C:drive. You may have to set the Explorer preferences to show hidden files and folders. The location of your open catalog is to be found by the menu Help >> System information.
- To know the format of a catalog folder you have located, look at the database. For instance, there is a file named catalog.pse15db = it's a version 15 format.
- Catalog folders can be moved or copied elsewhere. You can find them from the Explorer by searching for the catalog.pse15db file.

By using the menu Help >> System information, you know if the catalog folder is on C: or E:
If it's on E: that means you have moved it, there is no way to move it from inside the Organizer.
You may have your catalog on C: or E:, no problem. You can also have your media files on C and/or E, no problems either.
