Try going to Edit>Preferences>Display and Cursors and check out whether any of the options available there help you.

Go to Edit menu>Display & Cursors.  There are several options .

Pick from the scheme (extra large)--- don't forgetto click on apply after you pick the shceme.

Chaning the mouse pointer size can make the pointer be comically big.
