Deleting a grid pattern?

New Here ,
Dec 16, 2018 Dec 16, 2018

Am using iMac and PSE15.

Took some pics when visiting a Tiger Zoo. The Tigers were of course caged in as shown in the attached photo.

Problem: Can anyone suggest a way to erase the grid without affecting the picture of the cat ?

Many thanks in advance

Steinar H

I used the program Inpaint to remove the fence. Inpaint made this fairy easy to do.

Inpaint photo restoration software - remove elements from your photos

Then used the Clone tool and Brush tool to make further tweaks.

You can't erase the grid.

However, activate the Clone stamp tool, and clone adjacent pixels outside of the grid and place over the grid.

This will be somewhat tedious . Suggest that you open a blank layer above the Background layer and do the cloning on this. You may want to distribute the process over several layers, so that you can delete as you go along, if necessary, and don't lose all your work.
