Deleting files from hard drive

In my PSE13 some of the folders seem to be identical apart from the drive letter - one folder on the C drive and the same photos on the H drive. I don't need two folders with the same photos so I want to delete one of them. My question is which folder should I delete and should I alsio choose to 'delete from hard drive'?. I am not sure that if I choose to delete from the hard drive would they be deleted from the remaining drive?
