I have recently purchased Photoshop Elements 15 and the adobe Photoshop Elements 15 Classroom in a Book.I am working thru lesson 2 in the book and are unable to employ tagging faces in the media browser. I have tried enabling and disabling face recognition in preferences/media analysis. I have also tried to use the mark face command after disabling automatic face recognition. Any suggestions to remedy my problem.
If I select restore to default settings in preferences, will that correct the problem but will it make changes to other parts of the program?

Hi,
Apologies for this inconvenience.
unable to employ tagging faces in the media browser. I have tried enabling and disabling face recognition in preferences/media analysis.
When you re-enable automatic face analysis and restart Organizer do you see, face analysis progress in right bottom corner going on like this ?
If yes then you would need for this to complete after which you can mark the faces manually using Mark Face option.
Thanks,
Arshla

Hi
No, the Organizer does not start face analysis when automatic face analysis is enabled.
When automatic face analysis is disabled and the Mark Face option is employed, the organizer advises face analysis is yet to be performed and asks yes/no to start the analysis. If Yes is selected, the progress remains at zero percent.
If I select people in the picker and attempt to import images into the media browser, a message in the media browser advises "no media available, please clear applied filter and try again."
Please assist !!!

I would suggest you to clean uninstall the application using Adobe CC Cleaner tool. See Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems
Then install the application afresh and create new catalog and see. It should work fine then.
Thanks,
Arshla
