Hi all,
I had to install Elements10 on a new PC/Win10. Since than the Organizer ist not function any longer, because it's looking for DIRCTX, but on the PC is DIRECTX12 installed. Has anyone an Idea how to fix this. Could this also cause a problem for a Plugin from FilterForge? All other Plugins are shown and processing correctly in PS Elements except the one from FilterForge.
Thanks and kind regards,
Anne

For the organizer you probably just need to enable Direct Play as explained in the link below:
What happens when you try to use the Filter Forge filter?
What version of Filter Forge is it?

Hi Jeff,
it works as a Standalone Program. The Version I'm using is.6.0. I do not having Problems with other Plugins. It worked fine on my old PC before it crashed, and there I was using Win10 as well, converted from Windows7.

You shouldn't need to download anything.
Don't install anything unless it's from the microsoft website to fix your particular issue.
Just try Method 1 or Method 2, neither of which requires any download from that page.

Okay, I was not able to run Method 1, I could not find Windows Modules Installer.
So I ran Method 2, with no Error result.
I've also ran an Treiberupdate on the Graphic Card. It still wont work.

Hi Jeff, I've found the Solution in the Community. Would of been easy to explain it like the following
2) Go to Apps
3) Go to Apps & features
4) scroll down almost to the bottom to Related settings: select Programs and features
5) select Turn Windows features on or off (with shield in front)
6) Scroll to Legacy Components and turn it on
7) Turn on Direct Play as well, which is nested beneath Legacy Components
8) Hit OK
Would also be nice to have it ,in my case, in German!
Best regards
