Do I have the trial or free version of Photoshop Elements 10?

I was at a used book sale and I bought what I thought was a book about Photoshop. When I got home and went to read it (lol), I realized it was DVDs. I figured they were tutorials on how PE works but the DVDs wouldln't play. Then (lol) my lightning quick mind realized they were actually installation DVDs. My question is would this be a free trial or full version? (It seems quite elaborate for a free trial. There are three DVDs in a nice case and there's a serial # on the back of the case that says Photoshop Elements RET.) Thanks.

Yes it will be the full version but it depends if the previous owner has de-activated the software.

The only way way to find out is to install and try.

Beware of scammers trying to steal your private info. Adobe never helps by mail!

Thanks Michel. Wow, yeah I got two emails from "Adobe" looking to help me. I'm guessing a moderator removed them from the forum because I don't see them here. Thanks so much for the warning.

Yes, moderators and staff are very busy chasing those scammers. There is also a risk from scam attempts via PM (personal messages).

Thanks Michel. That's a shame that scamming happens here, but I appreciate you telling me. Now I'm forewarned.
