Download Nikon D7500 raw

I cannot download Nikon D7500 raw photos into Photoshop Elements. I was previously able to change the camera reference to Nikon D500 in Microsoft Properties but that is no longer possible.

What version of photoshop elements and version of windows are you using?

An alternative is to use the adobe dng converter to convert the D500 nefs to dng copies which should then open in photoshop elements.
