Downloading from camera

I have a Nikon 8200 Coolpix camera. when I try to download picture from it to Photoshop Elements 15, just the way I've always done in Photoshop Elements 10, your software tells me that I have no valid pictures. I have over 500 on the chip. what can I do?

Do you mean the S8200 which does not shoot in Raw.

Are you trying to get JPGs off it?
