Downloading RAW from Nikon D610?

Previously I downloaded RAW files from my D5200 to PSE 11 using the Adobe DN Converter. This software does not work when I download RAW files from a D610.

Grateful for any advice on how to deal with the D610.

You need a more recent DNGconverter. The latest is version 9.8.

With some effort I have discovered the answer to my question.

My version of the Adobe DNG Converter was set to RAW Version 7.1.(The version shown against the D610 in the Adobe listings). As the DNG Converter had worked for me before into PSE11,I thought it might work again if I changed from 7.1 to the earlier version of 6.6.

It did! So rather than going to a later version, I've gone to an earlier.

Perhaps there is a better theoretical solution, but at least 6.6 works.
