Just downloaded from a CD onto my computer. My edit page is missing the Edit Modes. No Quick, Guided or Expert box. No tools. Cannot do anything. This is PS Elements 14

Can you post a screenshot of what you are seeing?

Which OS (Mac, Win, version)?

Which display dimensions in pixels?

Hi there,

Sorry to hear that, when you reach to the point where you see options like Save/Save As/Continue in Quick/Expert, at the bottom of the right panel, there is an option to click 'Done'. This would retain you in Guided mode and display guided edit tiles.

Regards,
Sahil

My husband and I figured it out. We bought more RAM for my computer and kept playing around with all the tabs. We hit on the one that restored the correct page with the Edit Modes and all the tools. We tried all kinds of things and clicked on "Reset Panels". I got everything back. Simple. Added the RAM up to 8 as this program calls for 4 but suggests up to 8 and I now have 12GB. Thank You everyone.

This is my screen when I open up my Photoshop elements 14. I'm thinking I may need to get more RAM in my computer. I used this program on another computer and it worked fine. I installed it on my new computer with 4GB RAM and it won't work. I just tried to edit something and the whole program just closed on me. Never had problems before. I was running it on Windows 7 before with 6 GB RAM. Now it won't work

The photo of the screen does not totally answer my questions:

- what is the resolution of your screen in pixels?

The system requirements:

Photoshop Elements system requirements

(scroll down to PSE14)

"1280x800 display resolution (at 100% scale factor) "

PSE14 works well with 4 GB RAM.

But if you are in Windows 10 (1803) you may get a false message due to a Microsoft bug.

Error: An integer between 50 and 8 is required | Elements | Windows 10
