If I understand you correctly, you have (a scan of?) the front and back of a photo in two separate files/documents.  You now want to show the front and back next to each other in one file/document?  Here is one suggestion:

  • Open both files in the Editor.
  • Create a new document (File>New>Blank File) with dimensions that will allow you to place the back and front of the photo next to each other.
  • With the blank document active, click and drag the thumbnails of the photo from the Photo Bin at the bottom up to the blank document.  The front and back will then be layers in the new document.
  • Using the Move tool, place and, if necessary resize the front and back layers to their desired positions.
  • Save the new document.
