Editor not working in me Elements 15

I have elements 15.    When I select a photo  from Organiser and wish to Edit it,  the photo editor will not load, so I am unable to edit the photo

I had the same problem. Uninstalled/Reinstalled it a couple of times - problem still there. Then when I was going to uninstall one more time saw a little tick box that said "uninstall preferences as well?"  Ticked that and everything worked fine on the next reinstall.
