Elements 11 doesn't recognize the raw files from my Canon 80d.It does for my older camera. Is there a way to update Elements 11?

Unfortunately, pse 11 can only use up to camera raw 7.4 and can't use the required 9.5 camera raw.

Aside from upgrading to pse 15 you could use the adobe dng converter to convert the D80 cr2s to dng copies which then pse 11 should open.

Thanks for the response. I downloaded the converter but when I select the folder containing the raw files the converter doesn't see them.

What operating system are you using?

You should just click on the Source folder, not try to select the files inside.
