I recently up graded to windows 10. Everything was fine then windows did an anniversary update and now my Elements 12 editor would not boot up without signing in to a elements 12 trial offer. I signed in so I could edit but I already own elements 12. Any advice would be appreciated. I have an HP w/windows 10 desktop 9 upgraded from windows 7) Thanks

Hi Larry,
Please open the control panel and choose programs and features.
Repair all the visual c++ files and reboot the machine and check if the issue persists.

Gautam

Hi Larry,
If you are still stuck with the issue. Please try -
I might have got signed out of PSE12 while upgrading Windows. Please serialize you app with serial key, you must received while you bought the app in first place.
Please follow the mentioned steps -
1. Go to Help > Click Sign in
2. Click Sign in and enter the Adobe ID and password to sign in.
3. Close the app. On reopening, after some time you will see a screen as below. Click "License this Software" and enter the serial key with you.
Please let me know if this also doesn't help.
Thanks,
Swapnil
