Elements 12 no longer boots after uninstall of cc trial

I have had Elements 12 for a number of years.  I downloaded a trial of creative cloud. Used it for 30 days. decided to purchase Photoshop. So I uninstalled cloud. now when I try to open Elements 12, I get a message from Adobe saying my trial has ended.. etc, etc.

I owned Elements, does anyone know how to fix this?

I would uninstall, use the Adobe Cleaner Tool, and reinstall:
