Elements 12 stopped working

New Here ,
Jul 23, 2017 Jul 23, 2017

Elements 12 Edit stopped working (drop down menus blank except for some menu arrows) so I uninstalled and reinstalled. Rebooted several times afterward. Overnight turned off computer, etc. I fire up Chrome first and then try to fire up the newly reinstalled Elements 12 Edit, however, I get a message that says "Please connect to the Internet and retry".  I AM connected to the internet, but cannot get past this message. What do I need to do? Running Windows 10 and Chrome on my home Wifi, which are working fine. I don't know of any clock on my computer other than the one that controls date, time zone, and current time and it works fine. I have not made any changes to that clock. Thanks. - JT

Hi,

Apologies for this inconvenience.

For the error you get, please see the similar thread: Please connect to the internet and retry.

Let me know if it works for you.

Thanks,

Arshla

Hi Arshla,

Although I was able to bypass the "Internet Retry" message with the link and info you provided (thank you!), once the Elements 12 Editor appeared, it still had the same problem that prompted me to uninstall and reinstall (i.e., all drop down menu items blank except for triangles). Hopefully the pasting of a screenshot below in this message will provide some information. Thank you. - Joan
