Elements 14 on Mac not recognising SD card

Explorer ,
Nov 26, 2018 Nov 26, 2018

I have Elements 14 on a Mac (High Sierra 10.13.6). I've checked that Elements is up to date. When trying to import from 'camera / card reader' using an SD card in the Mac I'm constantly getting 'none detected' in source in the photo downloader, although my Mac can see the SD card in Finder.

Any suggestions? I wondered if there are any constraints  on the SD card it will read as this is a new card (which works fine everywhere else).

Thanks

Hi,

Suggest you to please click on drop down menu of Source , where you see <None Detected> and look for device. If not found, try selecting Refresh List from this dropdown and see if the device becomes visible.

Thanks.

I had done that already, and closed and reopened Elements too.

Hi,

Actually, Apple ceased to support iDevices and camera for PSE14 after Mac OS 10.10. Request you to please either upgrade your product or remain on Mac OS 10.10. Another alternative, you can try is use your SD card with card reader as card reader would be supported on your system.

Thanks.
