Elements 15 face metadata support?

New Here ,
Feb 23, 2017 Feb 23, 2017

Hi,

Does Adobe Elements 15 File/"Save Metadata to Files" save face tag coordinates along with the names?  I would like to have the name and coordinates of the face tag saved to the file's metadata.  Is this supported?  I have not found evidence that the coordinates are exported.

When viewing the image's metadata with exiftool I do not see any metadata tags declaring the coordinates of the face tags.  I only find the names in the "subject" and "keywords" tags.

Is it possible to save the coordinates of each face into the metadata?

Thank you.

Hi,

Elements doesn't export the face information or tags as metadata outside of the application using Save Metadata to files.

So it's not possible to do what you have asked for if you intend to use this information outside of Organizer.

But across the Photoshop Elements versions, the face tags and information are propagated when you back up and restore the catalogs from lower version of PSE to a higher one.

Hope this answers your query.

Thanks,

Arshla
