Elements 15 layer to Raw

New Here ,
Nov 07, 2016 Nov 07, 2016

I am a CC user but I've been asked to do a demo within Elements for Raw.

I've found it straightforward to open a Raw file from the browser but CC allows individual layers to be reopened in Raw while working in Photoshop.

Can this be done in Elements 15

Thanks

Not normally in photoshop elements, but the add-on Elements+ includes an Edit in ACR script to do just that.

That's one of my favourites...

You don't need any plugin in Elements.

Use the File >> duplicate menu (with 'flatten' checked) to create a new file showing only the selected layer, saved as jpeg, tiff or psd on your desktop; then to use the 'File >> Open  in ACR' option to edit in ACR, click on the 'Open in Editor' button and finally drag and drop from the photo bin to the original layered file (with original layer disabled).
