Elements 15 slideshow problems

When I try to make a slideshow, the selected photos are never in order, and after a couple one from elsewhere shows up and is the only one shown. How do I get the photos I want to display in the order shown in my media?

I don't understand what is happening to you.

In PSE15, the usual workflow is:

- to create an album and to sort the files manually in 'custom' order.

- You highlight all and click on 'create'

- You choose a theme and click on 'next'

- The slideshow preview starts to give you an idea of the theme

- Don't wait for the preview to end. Click on 'Edit' on the buttons bar.

- click and drag and drop files to arrange them in different order, add text slides etc.

- Click next...

I selected a portion of the pictures, create, and theme. When the slideshow began, the first picture was the first in the group. After that, titles were correct but one picture appeared in all, and it wasn't one in the selected group. For some reason this one picture has appeared whenever I've tried to create the slideshow. It isn't selected!
