Will my Elements 15 version transfer to Elements 2018?

The question I have is whether or not all my photos i currently have in 15

will migrate to version 18?

Your photo files are not "in 15". They are on your computer drive, where they have been downloaded or imported.

The organizer 15 is a catalog management system and it does not contain any image file, only links to the real location of your photo files.

So, when you install PSE2018:

- It installs as another independent program along with PSE15.

- PSE15 works as before with its own catalog

- At the end of the installation of PSE 2018, you are prompted to 'convert' the current catalog. This creates a new catalog in the 2018 database format. All your organization for PSE15 migrates to 2015 the catalog, keeping the PSE15 catalog available to PSE15. The conversion keeps your tags, captions, notes, ratings, albums, stacks, version sets as well as the small thumbnails.
