New Here ,
Mar 14, 2017 Mar 14, 2017

Just upgraded to version 15 from version 8.The photo merge panorama seems a backwards step. Have to do in "guided" to do this & photos I could merge manually in version 8 wont in version 15. Less control by not being able to pull photos into place manually.Any answers or assistance?
Friend has an earlier version & he cant find how to get a photo off a video on 15 as he can on his. Any help please

I have never been satisfied with the old 'manual' panorama adjustments. The performance of the tool has been improved so that you don't need to fiddle as much with perspective adjustments; that's what most of the typical current Elements users want, even for handheld shots. You can still consider the 'guided' edit as the first step and switch to and from guided to expert mode and work on the layers and masks as before.

Video formats have changed and the feature to get a photo from a video has been removed. If you don't have Premiere Elements, I would suggest using a software like VLC media Player which can produce a still photo from a given frame of the video.
