Elements 18 crashes

I have been using Elements 18 successfully for some time.  Recently every time a try to edit a photo it crashes.  I have tried different photos with the same result.  I am have Windows 10

There is a flood of complaints of similar problems after the latest Windows 10 update, you can easily browse such recent conversations in this forum.

So, read the explanation and workaround:

Error: An integer between 50 and 8 is required | Elements | Windows 10

and ask if you need more help. Editing the registry is the solution, it requires two minutes, and contrary to conventional wisdom, it has not created catastrophes.

Hi,

Please try after resetting the preferences file of Photoshop Elements. For this :

• press ctrl + k.
• Click on "Reset preferences on next launch" .

• Relaunch the application.

Please let me know if the issue persists.
