Elements 2018 photo downloader will not delete files after import and it will not close. It imports the files fine but will not delete them off the card reader and I cannot close the downloader. I do have delete files checked. TIA.

No precise idea but:

- it looks like a permission issue: can you use your OS to delete files from the card?

- it may help to know your OS and version.

I’ve experienced this but it’s not consistent. Sometimes it will delete and sometimes it will not. What location are you importing to? If I attempt to import to a mapped network drive or NaS it tends to not work. If I import to a local hard drive I seem to have better success.
