Elements 2022 Will not Find Scanner

My 2022 Photoshop Elements does not find ny Canon 6700 scanner.  I have tried reloading the scanner software and the Elements installation.  NO luck.

Try resetting the preferences file. Go to Edit>Preferences>General tab and click the Reset Preferences on next launch button.

Please uninstall your Printer/Scanner Software, Go to Device Manager (enable hidden devices)> Uninstall your Printer/Scanner Driver from there (Right click on the Driver name and click uninstall - ensure you delete the driver when uninstalling it)> Restart your PC> Load the Printer/Scanner Software and install the Driver either via the Software or by manually downloading it from the manufacturer's driver downloads page. Once installed, open your Elements App and Try to use the Scan Feature.
