Elements 2023 cannot open RAW (CR3) files from my Canon R5 mark II

I've downloaded my 1st batch of photos taken on my new R5 Mark II. When I try open them in Elements 2023, it tells me to "install the camera raw plugin from the help menu".  I've done this 3 times, I've rebooted and updated my windows 11 and I'm still not able to open the files and keep getting the same message to instll the raw plugin.   Any help would be appreciated

You can follow the instructions here to update PSE 2023 to Camera Raw 17.1, which should allow PSE 2023 to open your Canon R5 mark II.cr3 files.

Sorry Jeff, I had a sudden retinal tear that had to be dealt with before I had a chance to address this issue.  I appreciate your help and didn't want to give the wrong impression by not letting you know one way or the other if your suggestion worked.
