Using Elements 2023 on Dell XPS 8930 64Bit PC Windows 10 Pro up to date
When I load elements photo editor the screen draws OK then freezes for around 40 – 50 seconds.
Then it’s fine.
Problem was editor having difficulty connecting to print spooler. Updated HP printer driver and all OK now.

Should of added: Had Elements 2020 with this problem and thought upgrade to 2023 might sort it, but no. Saw a post that sufgested repair of catalogue may be the solution, but no difference. I'm in UK and cannot find an Adobe support phone number or find a CHAT option. Have run with administrator privalages but not the solution. Looking at services but not an expert. Recently un-installed Adobe Genuine Service (completely erroneously), could this be the problem? Cannot find where to download for re-installation.
