elements 2025

Hi!

I have a Mac mini with M2 pro chip and 16gb memory. I was using Elements 2022, which ran perfectly on the mac. However, I upgraded some time ago to Elements 2025 and it really runs slow. For example the most basic edit I use, is to adjust the lighting. In 22 it edited instantly. But with 25, it takes about ten seconds. No matter what function I use, it buffers almost every time. Apple, of course, assured me that the spec is sufficient to run elements.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Certainly the M2 Mac Mini should run PSE 2025 fine.

One thing to check is how much free space is on your drive by going to Apple>System Settings>General>About>Storage
