Elements 25 Organizer will not open

I bought elements 25 some days ago and all was well. After 3 days it suddenly stopped working. I have reeinstalled it but the result is the same, not working. Help please.

Please explain in more detail what you mean by "not working."  Are you unable to launch the program?  Are you unable to scroll through the grid or use one or more of the features?  How large is your catalog?  Do you have Auto sync to the Elements Web turned on?

Thanks Greg for your reply. I am unable to launch the program. It will not open.  The catalog is not big .  Should the auto synch be turned on or of and where do I find it ?

  • To launch the Organizer, try holding down the Shift key while it starts.  This will open the Manage Catalogs dialog.  
  • First, create a new catalog (using the New button).  
  • Select and open the new catalog.  
  • If the program launches, go back to the Manage Catalogs dialog from the File menu.  
  • Select your existing catalog and use the Repair and Optimize buttons to help fix any corruption in that catalog.  Complete the processes even if you are told there are no errors found. 
  • Open the repaired catalog.
  • If everything is OK, close and relaunch the Organizer normally.

 

You can turn off Auto sync in the Edit>Preferences>Auto sync dialog.  IMO, it is wrongly turned on by default.  However, with a small catalog, it should not be causing any problems.

Sorry, but it is the Editor I have problems with. Not the Organizer.

The oganizer seemes normal and it opens.  I only use the Editor . And when I try to go from organizer to editor it stops.

I suggest you contact Elements support. You can start a chat session by going to the Contact Adobe Support page. (https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen) Make sure you are signed into your Adobe account and try typing Agent when the chat window opens. (If you use my link, the chat window should open automatically.)  If necessary, and with your permission, support can take charge of your computer and figure out what is going on.  It is extremely difficult for us to offer help to you with so little information to go by.
