I have two Win 10 devices, both with most current update. One still opens Elements 6. The other will not open it. Should I uninstall and reinstall? Any other ideas? I ran "troubleshoot" but didn't help.

PSE 6 was rereased in October 2007 and Windows 10 was released in July 2015. I'm curious why you would update your OS and still expect your old programs released 8 years priorto the original OS release to continue running as usual?

Just tested: my PSE6 still opens in my Win 10 computer. It seems I am lucky since many (most ? ) other users can't open PSE6 without downloading missing DLLs, opening in legacy modes...

One known factor for old PSE versions may be the size of your system drive (or partition), which should not be over 1 TB.

Do you get any error message?

Thanks for the reply. I'm pretty sure I don't have more than 1TB of drive
on either machine.
I wonder if there'd be a problem if I tried to reinstall it.
Thanks,

It opens on my desktop with win 10, but not on my laptop. Both used to ask
for permission before opening but now the laptop doesn't get that far...
and there are no error messages.
I wonder if reinstalling would cause a problem. Why purchase the newest
version if there's another way to find out why one works and the other
doesn't (both Lenovos.)
