Elements 7 - serial number saying it's not valid

Hi,

I purchased Elements 7 back in 2009.  I was trying to add it to my new computer, but the serial number from my email is not working.  When I enter the number, it states that my serial number that I entered is invalid.  Am I no longer able to use this serial number?  Any information is greatly appreciated!
