elements always opens on computer boot up

I can't find a way for elements to stop opening up whenever I turn on my computer. I've looked in preferences and find nothing to address this.

What OS and version of Elements do you have?

Are you saying that the program window opens, or are you just talking about a background process in Windows Task Manager?

If you are on Windows 10, go to the Settings>Apps>Startup dialog and see if you can turn it off there.

HI Greg_S. I'm on Apple. The Elements is old, 10.00. As lame as this seems, it may be just that I'm shutting down with the app on so it turns back on. I use it a lot and am now thinking I'm just not shutting it down when I'm finished. It's also not listed in start-up items.
