I am having the devil's own time with Elements Organizer 2019 on my 2018 MacBook Air running Mojave.
I exported about 1400 picture originals from Apple Photos.
I set up an import in the Organizer, which completed successfully. A sample path/filename is: MacBook Air SSD/Users/myusername/Pictures/Imported to PSE/IMG_3059.JPG
Everything works fine for a little while, but then all of a sudden all the names change to something like:
MacBook Air SSD@dsnap-156941/Users/myusername/Pictures/Imported to PSE/IMG_3059.JPG
Once that happens, Photoshop Elements can't find the file and says it may be locked, etc. The files still exist at the original file path on my SSD. I have reimported several times, and can't figure out what is happening.
A few times, I have seen reference to directories that include "TimeMachine.localsnapshot" in the path when I look at the history window.
I have completely disconnected my Time Machine external drive - and I know "local snapshots" Can be made by Time Machine whent he disk is disconnected, but i don't understand what is causing this change to the organizer when the files are not moving.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
