Elements prints everything with the dreaded blue cast

Hello everyone,
I'm hoping someone has a solution to why printing to my Epson R1900 prints everything, color image or B/W with a blue cast.
Some background:
My printer is an Epson R1900 I run elements on win 10.
I experimented with different printing applications and printers and here is a summary of what I experienced.
I can print a B/W image or color image from Elements with correct colors on a Canon G6000. By the way, with no complicated settings. It just works. When I print to the R1900 using windows native photo editor the print has a slight blue cast but much less that when printed from Elements.
When I print from Elements to the R1900 I get a strong blue cast and I can’t find any setting that changes it in the least.

My print settings
Image/mode/gray scale also tried RGB
Printer profile=Adobe RGB
Rendering intent=colormetric (I have no idea what this is. It is just what PSE comes up with)
Printer ICM=OFF
I set the print dialog box to "Elements manages colors" and turn off "printer manages color" in the printer's dialog boxes (ICM=OFF).
I can let the printer manage colors and adjust the colors from the printers dialog box but this is not what I am trying to achieve. I want Elements to manage colors but right now it is not doing any color management.
So the problem is somehow related to how elements talks to the R1900.

Thanks all
