Today when I tried to start up Photoshop Elements I got a pop-up box asking me to select a location and then another pop-up box telling me to uninstall and reinstall the product and to contact support mentioning "Error: 3" if it doesn't work. Support told me to post in the community forums so here I am.
I got Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements as a bundle when I bought my laptop so I don't have a disk to reinstall them from. I don't know what I should do. Please help.

Thank you. But will it work if I don't have the serial number?

No you will need your serial key, did you purchase it directly from Adobe

No - it came pre-installed when I bought my laptop.

A report should open in your browser
If you scroll down you should see Software Licenses, see if Photoshop Elements is listed there

For some reason it isn't but the license key for Adobe Premiere Elements that it was bundled with is there. Would it be the same?

Sorry I can't answer that question, I would imagine it would be a different key for each although I could be wrong, won't do any harm to key it a try

Only had the time to try it today. Unfortunately it didn't work.

Hi
I'm afraid you may be out of luck

The serial key for Photoshop Elements starts with 1057, so if it is starting with the same digits, then you can try to use that serial key.

I also tried replacing the first 4 digits of my Premiere serial key with 1057 as you suggested, but that also didn't work.

Replacing the digits wont work, in case if you could find a serial key starting with 1057, then it could be for PSE.
