Error message in PS Elements 2022

 After upgrading from PS Elements 2018 to 2022, when I try to edit or delete a picture I get the following message "an error occurred while reading files or writing files to disk, the disk may be full" How do I fix this?

Buy a bigger hard drive?    How much space do you have available?
