Error message when trying to install Photoshop Elements 15 & 15 Premiere

Trying to install, one at a time, Elements 15 & 15 Premiere from DVD  I get the following Error message

Adobe 15 instal problem.jpg

I have no idea what this means as no other installer is running.

I've tried installing from two different DVD readers with same result.

I had a similar problem when trying to uninstall Elements 14 - when I got an Error "Another uninstaller is running".

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

You are suggested to restart your PC and then try installing afresh.

Seems like Adobe installer has not terminated in the background and must be visible in task manager background processes.

Thanks,

Arshla

Every time I have tried to install, 6 times up to now, I have done a restart each time before trying again; it makes no difference the same message come up.

Customer care has closed my case using a standard email message about "assuming the problem was solved as I had not updated my case for 24 hours"

This is completely WRONG I had updated every day saying the problem was NOT solved and asking for more help - without getting any.

The email closing my case said that I could re-open it 'referencing my case number' but I can find no way of doing this because when I log into my account is states "Case closed" and when I try to contact help I then get sent round and round in circles, always ending up with the advices to contact the forum.
