Everything on my Organizer screen is too small!

Photoshop Elements work-space screen text is so small, I can hardly read it.  I need the text displays, tags and information  (ex. for menu bar, left panel with list of my albums and folders) to be enlarged.  In my computer settings, I tried changing screen resolution from 250% to 300% (recommended), which made everything except Photoshop Elements larger.  This just started happening.  I have version 18.0.0.0

This may sound silly:  Buy a bigger monitor.   Santa bought me a 32" monitor and it's really nice- makes everything bigger.

You mentioned your computer settings, but not the setting found within your PSE preference file.

Thank you for your reply, but Santa isn't going to bring me a bigger monitor.  Besides, I have been using PSE for many years, and I've never had this problem before.

I don't have the same options in Preferences that you have.  My version is 18.0.0.0.

Update:  I did find those options in the Editor.  So Ichanged the Display and Cursor setting there from Automatic to Large - 200%.  That made no difference in either the Editor or the Organizer.

As I said in my update, I did find the Preferences option in the Editor, and I did make the change you suggested.  It did nothing.

I'd like to chime in that since yesterday (Feb 26th 2024) I have the same problem, only in Photoshop (web).

My monitor is plenty big (27") and everything is the normal size in other websites, apps etc.

You can see how small in the image below.

I have tried every button I can possibly open !  I can not read them properly at all, but I still opened them to look for icons etc and clicked on everything to see if I could change it. Obviously nothing did.

What is happing that is causing this to people. Seems it's not a new problem as I saw posts as far back as 2017 here on the same subject.

I'd love help too please.

PC. Using PS (web). Monitor 27" (so not small).

Thank you,

Amanda

That appears to be photoshop, don't really matter though.   You probably need to change your screen resolution.  I've got photoshop as well, the latest version, with my big monitor I dont have any issues.   I could increase the resolution of my monitor , but I don't because things were to dang small.

1920 x 1080 is a standard default setting.

Changing your screen resolution in Windows is a straightforward process. Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Right-click on your desktop and select Display settings.

  2. In the Display settings window, scroll down to the Display resolution section.

  3. Click on the drop-down menu and select your desired resolution. The recommended resolution is usually marked.

  4. Once you select the resolution, you’ll see a preview. If it looks good, click Keep changes. If not, you can revert to the previous resolution.

If you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask!

It is not my screen resolution that's the problem. The screen resolution is already 1920 x 1080.

Absolutely everything else is normal size as usual. It's only Photoshop (web) that has suddenly changed.

If I use Illustrator or Lightroom, they are fine and normal.

Thank you for trying to help though,

Amanda

This is in Photoshop Elements. I have already set my Windows screen
resolution to the recommended, which is 3840 x 2160. This has no impact on
the size of text in Photoshop. All the text is tiny tiny tiny (I would
guess about 6 pt. or less).
