How do I get rid of the thousands of head shots that elements has clogged up my photo files with? This feature is a nuisance.

Hi tims,

Thanks for posting in Adobe forums.

I understand you are facing issue with the face recognition feature.

Could you please try the following steps:

- Open Adobe Organizer

- Click Edit >> Preferences >> Media analysis

- Remove "Check Mark" from "Run Face Recognition Automatically"

Please check this screenshot for reference:

I hope this works.

Thanks

I've already done that, but the face pics remain. Do I have to completely shut the system down? This happened during the latest update. Will it be necessary to restore my photo files from a backup?

Hi,

If the issue you are getting is that under People's tab Organizer has accumulated faces, then click on Edit>Preferences> Media Analysis and click on 'reset face analysis'. This would clear the data from People's tab.

If you do not want faces in people's tab, uncheck the option Run Face Recognition automatically in the media Analysis window.

You can also turn off People regognition by clicking on View and unchecking People recognition.

Hope it works.

Thanks and regards
