fonts not clear and sharp

I'm using photoshop elements 10 and Im creating slides for powerpoint. When I use fonts in photoshop and then open the image in powerpoint, the fonts are not clear, they have a pixelated effect to them. The original image is large- ive made sure of that. when I type directly in powerpoint, the fonts are fine. i'm using the exact same font and size, but it doesn't matter which font I use in photoshop- I have the same issue- not clear and sharp.

whats the problem???

I realised the image above isn't overly clear, but there is certainly a difference. I've also just pulled out my old mac book, and tried the same thing. and its super clear and sharp on that. I've uninstalled and reinstalled photoshop, but its still the same. fonts not clear and sharp.

so its something to do with windows 7?

Be sure, your image is RGB - use PNG format

The best option is making screens (slides) in destination size in Photoshop. If you scale your graphic pixels moves and your image looks blurry. Maybe better solution is making only background (without texts) in Photoshop and add your text in Power Point

When you add text in Photoshop or in Powerpoint the text is in vector form (not DPI dependent) but when you export it in jpg or png the text is rasterized (DPI dependent). In this case the quality of text depends of the resolution of the exported image.
