Unfortunately, the Organizer can only work with photos stored on your hard drive. So, you will have to download the files before importing them into the Organizer's catalog.
And you cannot manage iPhoto with the Organizer.

One other point that may be of interest to you: The recent update to Elements (2024.2) allows German versions of the program to use the Elements Web. This is a beta program that allows you to synchronize photos on the Elements Web with images on your local hard drive. However, this latest release has caused problems for some German, French and Japanese users. If you are one of those users, the workaround has been to roll back to an earlier release of the program.
And finally, there is an iPhone application for Elements users. This has also been updated recently and provides some very sophisticated tools for editing photos on your phone. It is also a public beta version and must be accessed through Apple's Test Flight application.

Hello Greg
Thank you so much for your answer.
Since years I use Organizer to manage my pics. And I also give lessons about how to do it.
Cloud-saving didn't make the handling easier...
I really hope sooner or later Adobe will find a solution to somehow include management of for example pics on a Cloud.
At least I am updated now lol
Thanks again and good bye

Just to be clear: it is now possible to use the Adobe Elements Web service in Elements 2024 to manage files stored in the Adobe Cloud.
