Getting files into Photoshop Elements 11

I photocopied forty 35 mm slides into Pictures and now want to bring them into Photoshop Elements.  Painfully it seems I can only bring them one at a time., I am only allowed to list one file when I use "Get files".  Is there a way to bring them all at once?

What operating system are you using?

You should be able to select more than one scan/photo/document when using File>Get Photos and Videos>From Files and Folders in the pse 11 Organizer.

. . .  or you can select a folder (or more than one) and choose the Get Media button.
