Getting pictures into the editor from the organizer

Hi

First-time use with elements 15, imported a group of pictures into the organizer and can't figure out how to access them from the editor.

when I go to open the pictures I imported it opens the windows explorer on my computer hard drive and seems like it wants me to get from there rather than from the organizer

The menu 'Open' in the editor does not use the organizer, it starts by looking in your Explorer.

You have to be in the organizer to open files in the editor.

When you select (highlight) one or several files in the organizer, you can click on the 'Editor' icon on the bottom bar or right click and choose to open in the editor (or in photoshop if you have it, or in another editor if you have set it in your preferences).
