help, pics are fading away with a question mark on them, then it says browse....nothing

cannot find answers, tried chat no one there, pictures are disappearing with question marks, never had this problem before, just got a new computer

Question marks appear over image thumbs when the files go missing i.e. their original location or name has changed and EO is trying to access the file from the old location.
