Help with entering pictures

What is the best way to put a photo from a file on my computer into elements 2020? I don't want to go though Organizer. Or only a few pictures at a time.  How can I delete photos from Organizer?

From Editor menu:

File >> Open

Go to folder and choose photos

Each file can be used in Editor from Photo Bin

The picture files are on your computer wherever you put them. They are not stored in the Editor or in the Organizer.

To access a picture file in Editor, go to File menu>Open and point to the file that you wish to work on.

If you don't wish to utilize the organizer, don'topen it .

How can I delete photos from Organizer?

Select the photo(s) in the grid and press the delete button.  You are then given the option whether to also delete the photo from your hard drive.
